In order to further improve the soft image of Sindh province and to boost its economy, the neglected tourism sector of the province needs considerable overhauling.

The Sindh province, in spite of its diverse geographical features, including seashores, plains, forests, rivers, hills and deserts, besides world famous tourist attractions of Mohenjo Daro, Makli, Ranikot, Arore and Kotdeji, receives an insignificant number of local and international tourists. The main reasons for lagging behind in the tourism industry are vision-less leadership, high corruption at government level, incompetent and non-professional bureaucracy.
